In The 1988-89 season they added a further 14 clubs, including Leicester, Wolves, Preston, Cardiff City, Blackpool, Walsall, Grimsby, Cambridge, Mansfield, Walsall, Newport, Peterborough, Kidderminster and Hartlepool United.
